Excellent food, be patient and enjoy the food, from the jamon to the secreto iberico.

Mundo Iberico - Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We made the mistake of booking this restaurant on New Year&rsquo;s Day, thinking that it would be easier than venturing into town to find somewhere open. There were very few customers, just three or four tables, so it looked like they had closed off most of the restaurant. Service was a bit off. We wanted a couple of glasses of red wine but weren&rsquo;t shown a wine list to choose from. Instead, the servers brought us one bottle to show us. We had to confirm the price. We tasted it but said we&rsquo;d like a different sort. They again brought us a bottle to show us and taste. I noticed later that customers at one of the other tables were also offered a glass of the same wine. I got the impression that they were reluctant to sell us wine by the glass instead of the bottle. The food was good - I had the potato with goat. Overall it just didn&rsquo;t feel like a great experience, although the food was good, and the servers were doing their best on a slow day.

The best restaurant we have been to, here in Tenerife. Everything was absolutely fantastic! It doesn&#39;t get any better than this! The only thing (which I also pointed out in the restaurant and which was corrected) was that when my husband ordered coffee and brandy, this was served cold. (without a warm glass of water under the cognac scoop).

All of the food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. We have eaten at many Bombay Babu restaurants in Tenerife and they are all excellent. We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we go to Santa Cruz

All aspects here are high-end, the price is a bit expensive. The food is fresh, the cooking is quite level, the seafood is very clean, and the cooking is delicious.

The service and the restaurant iz very warm and welcoming!The plate with four types of iberico ham is a must, main course excellent and the icecream is their specialty.Try the chocolate one with orange topping!!!

The food is tasty, but the people working there are rude, it is like we are bothering them, we didn&rsquo;t feel comfortable at all. The bill was wrong/increased, we could really felt they didn&rsquo;t like tourists.It was our last meal in Tenerife, we would have preferred to chose another place !!! If you read this message, there are hundreds of better places than this one !

We had excellent meat both as a starter as main dish, and good wine, however this is it.Nor the waiter nor the lady-cook (who completely ignored us) behind the counter gave any sign that they liked our presence: no warm welcoming, no or only a shy smile, no try to make you feel comfortable, no single word of English either (which is no obligation of course but this is 2023 folks, wake up&hellip;).Good to know also if you still wish to visit this place just for the quality of the food which is really good: the dishes are offered in the spartan way: just your meat, a few dots of sauce and a few French fries.All in all the price was not worth the &lsquo;experience&rsquo;, if some of above suggestions would be taken care off, it would be for sure.You could say they keep a certain level of authenticity but where&rsquo;s the sense of showing that you like the job you do, that you&rsquo;re proud of the products you work with, that you want to show off commercially&hellip;

We were disappointed to find there was no current menu in English, making it difficult to know what we wanted.  The service wasn&#39;t particularly good considering how few customers were there.  I didn&#39;t consider the standard of cooking matched the cost for the food we had.  Overall a very disappointing meal which was far too expensive.
